In Chevereto Cloud we provide the infrastructure, but you maintain ownership of your data and the freedom to move your operation to any self-hosted environment at any time.
The Portability Architecture
Unlike closed platforms, Chevereto Cloud separates the Software layer from the Data layer.
- Software Layer: Managed by us (database, updates, patches, server config).
- Storage Layer: Controlled by you through your chosen storage provider.
Migrate to Self-hosted
Moving away from Chevereto Cloud is a direct process because your media files are already decoupled from our servers.
Database migration is not fully self-service yet, your DB data must be exported and imported manually for now. This is on our roadmap and we’ll provide tooling to automate this step in future releases.

Migration is currently an assisted service. We handle the technical heavy lifting to ensure data integrity.
